i am a worshiper, i love coffee, writing, and most importantly Jesus.
I believe that the gospel has the power to transform nations. 'the aftermath' is about a heart collided with God. My life has never been the same since God brought his healing and his love.
I live by faith and I'm learning what it means to love Jesus with my whole heart, what it means to love with Jesus as my strength.
In the summer/fall of 2011, I attended a school with Youth With a Mission called the Abolitionist DTS. This focus of this school was a season of inner healing for me personally, as well as focusing on 'what can we as Christians do about human trafficking?'
This 6 month trip changed my heart in several ways in that God began to really reveal himself to me and started to break my hard heart.
LONG TERM VISION/CURRENT PLANS
Currently I am in a program called 'the leadership track' in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii. The rest of this year as well as part of 2013, I will be learning what it means to be a godly leader. I will do this through serving, living in community, and encountering God's heart in much deeper ways.
This season is not simply learning more about God, but learning how to bring this light to others. I am doing this through learning about myself, learning what it means to be a servant, and reaching out to my community.
eventually staffing leading teams overseas.
I am comitted to being in Kona for the next 3 years; eventually I will be staffing Discipleship Training Schools (DTS) because I want to see young individuals come and encounter God & kinow that a relationship with him is possible. I long to see young people be changed for God, and to be trained and sent to the nations. Revival truely does 'start here' right within our own hearts.
Longterm, my desire is to see lives changed by the power of Jesus, revival, and to partner with the things God is wanting to do globally. In time, I know that God will show me what that specifically looks like.
