it's coming up quickly..

As many of you know, my Discipleship Training School is in August and yup... i'm still planning on going!

i thought i would do a quick short blog to keep you posted and to answer your questions on how you can help if you are interested.

I leave August 5. I may be doing a silent auction (hosting it at After the Grind/date to be decided) to help me with the funds in order to go. I am in need of businesses to donate items & people to come to this event. The more people coming, the better. This silent auction will be a fundraiser where i will be sharing what i will be doing on my DTS & others.

If you have expressed interest or have wanted to sponsor me, the very last day i can receive the money is August 1. During the last few days before my DTS i will be very busy and might not be able to get it.



My mom told me that she will match me dollar for dollar whatever money i can personally raise from working at the greenhouse, my photography, doing botteldrives. By the end of this summer [having dollar for dollar matched] I will have almost $1,600.00, and someone has committed to sponsoring me $600.00.

In order to leave by the end of this month, I need an additional $1,000.00 to be able to go.





PRAYER REQUESTS:
Currently i am waiting on my visa to come back. The wait list for this normally is 3 weeks and i am running out of time... Please pray for favor as my visa is processed and that it would be here as soon as possible. Without it i cannot leave canada/enter the states.

Pray that God would continue to be faithful and continue to provide the finances for this DTS.

That the silent auction would be a success, and also that it would make many people aware of the issues of Human Trafficking that happen in North America.

That God would continue to prepare my heart for everything that im about to see and experience on this DTS.
That i would grow deeper in my relationship with God and gain a deeper sense of who he is during my DTS
